Blondie - Man Overboard (Blondie)

Man overboard, sinking in a sea of love.
Man overboard, he jumped, didn't need a shove.
Oh, I've been sailing the sea of love, experiencing romance...
With what I know, he never stood a chance!
He gave it all for love.
He gave it all for love.
Said, lower the boats, he's sinking in a sea of love.
Lower the boats, he's sinking in a sea of love.
Yeah, I've been sailing the sea of love, experiencing romance...
With what I know, he never stood a chance.
No!
Man overboard!
Man overboard!
Man overboard!
Man overboard!
Throw him a line.
Man overboard!
He gave it all for love.
He gave it all for love.
He gave it.
He gave it all for love.
Man overboard!
He gave it.

I had it on cassette after borrowing it from a friend, new, (pirated). Who knows were it is now, what box that memory got tossed into? Thanks for posting.

I actually have that album, by the way. Hard to get! It features Blondie's Clement Burke on drums, John Siegler (Todd Rundengren's Utopia) on bass, Earl Slick and Carlos Alomar (both from David Bowie's touring band) on guitars and legendary producer Michael Kamen (who's sadly no longer with us) on keyboards and harmonies. And both Deborah Harry and Chris Stein appear on it too. Tell ya what, I'm so fortunate to pick up an underground classic!

You are lucky to have this album I wish I did. Don't think it's on CD. Clem Burke is one of my fave drummers so I'm glad he's on Destri's album. Well I'm not only a big Blondie fan but a big Bowie fan and to have Slick and Alomar on it says a lot about the quality of the music and of course Deborah and Chris on it rounds that out. Good producers make a diff so to have Kamen on adds to it. I want this album.

Nice dig up of the LP, I wish the rest of the songs were published on this site!
